All paws on the deck

I love hanging out on the deck with my people. The yard? Not so much. Here's me on a typical summer evening, on my double-cushioned chair, near the fan.

The Great Indoors

It snowed a lot at our house this weekend. I don't like snow much, and I really didn't like it when I got stuck in a drift. I have been staying inside mostly, basking in the sunbeams and looking out the door at the snow.

Up Close with Roscoe

I like to be near my people. I put my face right next to their faces. I go on their pillows with them. Sometimes I lick their hair or snort in their ears. I'm very smiley when I do it all. Here's what it looks like to be up close with me:

We Hate School

My people went back to their regular schedule a few weeks ago. Milo and I do not like it one bit. We are stuck with each other all day. I've been getting into a lot of mischief as a result.

Dog or goat?

My fur grows very fast and I get extremely fluffy. My person says I get kind of smelly too. I disagree. This week I went to the groomer and got a bath and a haircut. I look like a very cute goat now.

Not only do I look awesome either way, my person says my new bandana really gives me extra flair.

Charisma

Hanging out with my people. My person said she couldn't imagine any dog being more charming or personable.

Snow Day!

My people did not have to go to work yesterday so we all spent the day together on the couch. I also played Fetch and Chase with my person's winter socks.

Potato

I had a great holiday season. I ate special meats, many tidbits and snacks, several kinds of treats, and different flavors of dog food. I got a haircut yesterday. My person said "Roscoe, I thought you were just fluffy. You are fat!" She said my body looks like a potato. A potato sounds good.

Thanksgiving

I love the holidays! I have extra people to lounge on and extra tidbits to nibble.

Using tools, making stuff

Today I learned about tools and having fun with cardboard boxes and styrofoam. I like projects.

The living is easy

It's summertime. My people went on vacation and brought back these sunglasses. I wore them while lounging in a sunbeam on the Victoria's Secret swimsuit catalog.

Hideaway

When it's hot outside, I like to lounge under the grill. It's my little cave. I relax mostly, but sometimes I leap out to snap at a bee or bark at our neighbor. Last night, my person cooked hamburgers on the grill. This morning I licked the legs and wheels of the grill, testing for leftovers.

Part of the pack

My people had to go on a trip. I got to stay at a special place for dogs. At first I was very scared. Then I became part of the pack. I played and played. The man there told my people that I am always after the ladies. My person said I need to learn some manners.

After three days of non-stop playing, I am exhausted.

Sunshine makes me sleepy

I am so happy it is springtime and I can be all warm outside on the deck with my people. I also like to watch the neighbors and keep the squirrels on their rodenty little toes.

Olympics!

I have been sitting on my people while they watch the Olympics. We also watched a special dog agility contest. The dogs were going around obstacles and doing tricks. My person pointed to the dogs on TV and said "Roscoe, that's going to be you someday!"

I'm not so sure about that.

Lookout

This is one of my favorite spots. I like to look out the window, especially when I am waiting for my people to come home. I am not really allowed up here because it belongs to the cat. One day I slid right off the back. I was very startled. I didn't get stuck though! I stayed on the floor the rest of the day.

Inside!

It is very cold here. I like the snow, but I like being inside and being cozy even more. Here I am with Milo around the heater. I also like to sit on laps and cuddle on my bed, my cushion, and the couch. I am not allowed on the couch though.That does not stop me.

Office assistant

Due to some of my recent shenanigans, my person now lets me sit on her lap while she works. I am on a pillow on her lap. I can be an arm rest for her when she is typing. Also, I am nice and warm, like a little heater. We take lots of breaks to play.
